Crisis Clinic and Teen Link: An organization to provides immediate support for youth in crisis, as well as volunteer opportunities for youth who want to help other youth. They publish “Where to Turn For Teens.”

The Freechild Project: A great overall resource for topics of youth empowerment and social change. The mission of The Freechild Project is to advocate, inform, and celebrate social change led by and with young people around the world, especially those who have been historically denied the right to participate. We do this by facilitating training and workshops, and through our website.
Community Justice Network for Youth: A support network for organizers and practitioners who are on the ground working with youth who are at risk or already involved in juvenile justice systems. A solid resource for youth who want to fight the rail to jail!
Youth Speak Up: A youth-run website dedicated to environmental issues and global warming
Youth Speaks Seattle: The local Seattle branch of the global Youth Speaks movement, providing a space for youth to express themselves and build their slam poetry skills.
Youth Media Institute: An organization that strives to empower youth to become powerful leaders and artists by using media technologies to transform images about their communities, cultures, and themselves.
Stonewall Youth: SYPP loves Stonewall Youth! Located in Olympia, an organization of youth, activists, and allies that empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQQIA) youth to speak for themselves, educate their communities, and support each other.
Our American Generation: OAG is a youth powered think tank for social justice. OAG helps you(th) get serious and get organized about social justice issues you care about. We strive to engage youth in critical research and discussion about all social justice issues, in hopes to create a strong and diverse community of young Americans – a community that will not be reluctant to take on our nation’s most challenging problems.
FIERCE: FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and power of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth of color in New York City. We think they rock.

INCITE! Women of Color Against Violence: A national activist organization of radical feminists of color advancing a movement to end violence against women of color and our communities through direct action, critical dialogue, and grassroots organizing.
Critical Resistance: Critical Resistance seeks to build an international movement to end the Prison Industrial Complex by challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe. They believe that basic necessities such as food, shelter, and freedom are what really make our communities secure.
