Internships
Learn the skills to fight effectively for social change…and get paid in the process.
Seattle Young People’s Project (SYPP) is a youth led organization and we think it’s essential to help young people learn all the skills necessary to be effective leaders in social justice movements and organizations. That’s why SYPP offers internships throughout the year that focus on strengthening youths’ community organizing skills, fundraising skills, and event planning skills.
At the same time, we know how hard this economy can be, and we know that many young people feel the pressure to find jobs to help them support their families. That is why we work hard to ensure that SYPP interns are paid for their contributions to our community.
Currently, all of SYPP’s paid youth internships fall within the Social Justice Leadership Pipeline and Youth Organizing Institute 2.0 programs, which are focused on youth who have already joined SYPP as members.
However, if you are new to SYPP and you are curious about how to become involved, please give us a call.
