Join any of our projects or campaigns- Any youth can join our youth-initiated social justice projects or start your own project! Project members plan actions and events that raise awareness and build pressure for change. It's an awesome way to put your ideas into action, get organizing experience and hands-on training. You can also earn service learning hours! Current projects include:
- Project Liberation - Youth Led Political Education Trainings. PL members lead workshops at SYPP and in the larger community about racism, homophobia, youth organizing and other topics. Check out our Project Liberation page to see the workshops in our catalog. PL meets Thursdays at 4pm. email projectliberation@sypp.org for more info.
-
Acting Our Age - Youth are developing a play to show what youth are experiencing in their everyday lives. Come to SYPP Tuesdays at 4:30 if you want to act or help create the set.
Become a Youth Board Member - SYPP's youth led board is currently looking for youth members. Board members make important decisions about budgets, hiring processes, and fundraising. If you are interested in serving a one-year term, then download the Board of Directors Application.
